EPDM Roofing

EPDM Roofing Services

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) roofing is a proven solution for low-slope and flat roofing applications. Known for its durability and cost-effectiveness, EPDM is one of the most trusted commercial roofing systems on the market today. Made from synthetic rubber, this single-ply membrane is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, UV exposure, and temperature fluctuations—making it ideal for long-term performance with minimal upkeep.

Available in both black and white options, EPDM roofing offers flexibility in energy efficiency and appearance. The black membrane helps absorb heat in colder climates, while the white reflective version helps reduce cooling costs in warmer regions. With standard thicknesses of 45 mil, 60 mil, and 90 mil, and wide roll sizes that reduce the number of seams, EPDM installations are both efficient and reliable. When properly installed and maintained, these systems can last 20 to 30 years or more.

Installation methods include fully adhered systems, which are bonded directly to the roof surface using commercial-grade adhesives, mechanically attached systems using fasteners and seam tape, and ballasted systems secured by river rock or pavers. Each method is selected based on the structure’s design, location, and performance goals.

Maintenance is straightforward and low-cost. We recommend semi-annual inspections and additional checks following major storms. Routine cleaning of debris, branches, and standing water helps preserve the membrane’s integrity, while resealing seams or flashings when needed will extend its service life.

EDPM Roofing is Ideal For:
  • Commercial buildings with flat or low-slope roofs

  • Residential garages, additions, and flat-roof sections
